I use to build fine, custom furniture. Now I spend my time designing custom websites for clients that reinforce their brand. Having primarily used Grip Creative as the business front for all client work over the last two years, I am now changing the focus to be the creative hub for all my design endeavors!

It's been well over two years since i've redesigned this domain, gripcreative.com. Being busy with business has been the primary reason for the lack of attention. The concept for the previous design embodied where I was in life. I was inspired while hiking over night in the White Mountains of New Hampshire to create something that had a tangibly organic feel to it. I thought that was what I wanted to be known for - textures, color and rustic.
It's great that there are such large players (Apple, Google, and surprisingly Microsoft) are pushing their technology to push forward the web. Google is now offering a new service to help people easily embed fonts on their websites.
We all have our own way of creating designs in Photoshop. Our own process also influences how we build our Photoshop Files. The end result can be the same, but what if you have to hand your work off to another designer or to a developer mid way through your effort?
